Flip flop card

I was challenged to some how incorporate the new MME Indie Chic paper, tape, Harmonie stamps and Tim Holtz Distress markers into my June Fast and Fun class (Fancy Folds).  It was a little overwhelming at first but super fun in the end.

I found a card on Pinterest and decided that was the fold that I wanted to do.  So that gave me the technique.  Next I stamped the image from Harmonie onto white card stock and played with the Tim Holtz markers.  I wanted to get a watercolor look so I used his new water brush too.  The card stock got too wet so I had to use watercolor paper instead.  Once the image was colored I matched it with MME Indie Chic paper and tape and TA DA!  Here it is...

It's a flip card.  When you pull on the left side.  The image flips over to reveal the sentiment.

Here is a side view.  It's kind of like a swinging window that open and closes.  Very cool and surprisingly easy.

Hope the students in my June class have as much fun as I did when they make their cards.
