Dina Wakely make-n-take

This was one of the last projects that I did at the show. I just LOVE the technique. I am definitely making a class out of this one!

Fun at Felicity's

On my way back from a conference inTucson, I was fortunate to be able to make a pit stop in El Paso. Felicity graciously allowed us to stay in her guest house which was so cozy and of course had a fully stocked craft room. Felicity's room was organized and decorated with style. Here are some photos of the room and of some card samples that I loved.

Zenspirations Dangles

Took a fun class and learned all about "dangling". Super fun!!

Spectrum Noir Alcohol Pens

I took a class using the cheaper more economical alcohol ink pens. They are similar to COPICs but I had trouble blending them. They don't have brush tips. I do like the step by step instruction sheets though...

Vintaj Patinas

Now I am not much of a jewelry maker but I was interested in learning how to use the metal Patinas that Vintaj sells. I thought the metal pieces would make great embellies on cards or altered art pieces. The class was packed with techniques. We made 5 pieces of jewelry...I can't wait to break them apart and use the pieces for my card art!

Spellbinder class

This was the first class I took but didn't have my iPad so amounting this late. The big news is that they have come out with a new mini embossing die cut machine called the Artisan Xplorer. it is really compact but still able to do all the tricks that a bigger machine can do.

They have also come out with some large and deeply etched embossing plates. We used both the new machine and the embossing plates to decorate a chipboard book.

Splash Ink!!!!

Just finished taking a class using these new inks...Splash inks. With only four bottles of ink and an easy to follow color chart, you can make over 90 different colors...FABULOUS ! Here are the samples I made and a photo of the creator of Splash ink.
