Happy belated Mother's Day to all you wonderful, hard-working, multi-tasking, miracle moms! I had a wonderfully relaxing day with my husband, daughter, parents and good friend, Sandy and her family. Here is the BEAUTIFUL card that Sandy made me. Unfortunately it didn't scan so well...there is a bit of a shadow on the card. She used COPICS to color the image, rhinestones and ribbon. Don't you think it turned out fabulous!
My daughter made the card below for me! For 13 years old, I think she has a really good eye for design layout.
Best of all, inside the card from my daughter was the coupon below. WOO! HOO! Every crafting mother's dream!

Glossy Bee
At the last stamp convention, I watched a few demonstrations using Marvy markers on glossy paper. I had done that technique before but forgot just how vibrant the colors looked on the paper. So I took out some white glossy paper and played with the images from the SU "Nature Walk" set. I really enjoyed watching the bee come to life with the use of plain old SU markers. You should give it a try.

More card swap
I have been meaning to share more cards from the last card swap and have finally gotten around to doing it. This card is from Donna. She did a faux mother of pearl technique that turned out fabulous! Click on the link above and get directions.
Here is a cute one from Jen. The little hearts are popped up. Love the color combo too! This one is from Kelly. Love, love, love the stems of these flowers and how she popped some but not all the flowers.
