Owl gives thanks

The 4th card for my Heart Felt thanks class is a little whimisical.  I adore the owl punch and he is so cute with some added googly eyes.

Off to prepare for my Valentine Stamp-a-Stack on Sunday.  I now have a greater appreciation for all the hard work that goes into preparing for a class!

Happy New Year everyone!

T is for thanks

I made this card as the third project in my Heart Felt Thanks class. I love using the embossing folders to dress up plain card stock. Unfortunately, the text was mounted a little crooked but it will have to suffice since it is only the sample.  ;-)

I  used SU's My Digital Studio to create the text for this card.  I just love all the stuff you can do with MDS...we made calendars for all the grandparents with it this year.  I will post some samples in the future.

Speaking of "thanks"...I am so grateful to be crafting with my God daughter today.  It is so nice to have her around.  She is quite the crafty little woman too!  She paints on glass and wood items.  Here are some martini glasses that she painted for a friend who goes to Baylor University.

Aren't they super cute!

Well, need to get to working on the last of the 4 cards for my next class.  Thanks for stopping by.

4 Heart Felt Thanks

Here is the second card that we will be making for my Heart Felt Thanks class on January 16th.  It was fun coming up with different ways to make the hearts...embossed, stamped, patterned paper, buttons.

Hope you like it.  Off to eat lunch with a dear friend.  Have a great day everyone!

With all my heart thanks

Here is one of the cards that we will be making in my Heartfelt Thanks class on January 16th.  All of the stamped images are from SU's "With all my Heart" stamp set.  The colors are new...cherry cobbler and early espresso....so yummy!

The coolest thing is that there is a hidden message on a tab that swings out when you pull on the red ribbon.

With All My Heart Thanks

Pull on the red ribbon tab and out swings a hidden message!
I will post the other cards in the coming weeks.  Hope you enjoyed!  If you are interested in taking the class, click on "contact me" and email me.

Upcoming Class: Heart Felt Thanks

Did you like the Valentines from the Stamp-a-Stack class coming up this Sunday?  Well on Sunday, January 16th, I will be hosting a Heart Felt Thanks card class.  I will be taking some of the design elements from the children's Valentine class and turning up the sophistication to make some beautiful grown-up thank you cards.  The class is $10 or free if you purchase $35 worth of Stampin Up product on the day of class.  There are a couple of spaces left so email me if you are interested.  I will be posting some samples in the coming week.

Christmas Eve

Just wanted to share a few cards that I received this Holiday season.  The first is from my boss...the best one in the world!!  Not only is she super dedicated and great to her staff but she is a stamper! Who could ask for anything more??

The next card is from my friend Lynn, who is an absolute master of the Cricut!

Finally here is a holiday card that I made for my first Stampin Up demonstrator swap.  Using the snowflake embossing folder, some gems, the scallop circle punch and a stamp....simple and easy!

Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season with family and friends!  Thanks for stopping by.

My first Stamp a Stack! Valentines

Hello everyone!  Welcome to my first post on my new blog!  I joined  Stampin Up (SU) as a demonstrator at the end of November and will be hosting my first Stamp-a-Stack on January 2, 2011. 1-4pm   I only have a few spaces left.  After that I can make kits for those who still want to participate.

I know that Christmas isn't here yet but...I love to be prepared...

Jump Start Valentines: For the young and the young at heart
Make 24 treat-filled Valentines (enough for the average elementary school class or average office clan): 12 treat cup cards (6 each of 2 designs); 12 treat bag cards (6 each of 2 designs).
Class attendees will receive all the pre-cut paper to make 24 cards, a bag of Valentine M&Ms, and detailed instructions.   They will learn how to use embossing folders, die cuts, punches, clear mount stamps, watermark stamping, and paper crimping.
Take a peek at what we will be doing....

This is one of the treat cup cards.  Great for little boys

.

Here is the second of the treat cup cards.  I just love the heart shaped cup.

Don't you just love the SU owl punch.  In the new Saleabration catalog, they have a stamp that goes with the punch.  I used it for the first of the two treat bag valentines.  See below.

The new Stampin Up Occasions mini catalog will debut at the end of January.  Look at the super cute cup cake punch from that catalog...I used it in the second of the two treat bag Valentines.  See below.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog.  Please let me know what you think.
